The Comparison of Spatial Models in Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) Study

This study was conducted to compare the performance of three different spatial analysis models: Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW), Ordinary Kriging,­­ and Regularized Spline interpolation technique determine best fit model representing Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) in West Java Province, Indonesia. The models are commonly used visualization, but have calculation methods. calculations were performed using available formulas while modeling algorithms GIS software. Meanwhile, accuracy factual determined through Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). results showed differences for both distribution maximum minimum values each model. However, IDW observed be which approaches value PGA as indicated by its RMSE 0.772352 comparison with 7.169879 (Ordinary Kriging) 1.140802 (Regularized Spline).
